” Guling ointment has nourishing yin and moisturizing, lowering fire and removing trouble, clearing dampness and heat, cooling blood and detoxifying, stopping itching, removing acne, relaxing bowel, laxative, nourishing yin and kidney, nourishing and refreshing. Very much caused by irritability, constipation, hot shower, white turbidity, boils, red vaginal discharge, skin itching, boils redness and embolism. Modern commonly used Guiling ointment to treat a variety of oral ulcers, habitual constipation, acute and chronic urinary infections, Inflammation of female reproductive system, certain neurological dysfunction embolism ”
