The Sweet Osmanthus Purple Potato Fried Glutinous Rice Cake

The sweet osmanthus purple potato fried glutinous rice cake is a kind of delicious food, with purple potato as the main ingredient.

How To Make The Sweet Osmanthus Purple Potato Fried Glutinous Rice Cake

Step 1

Cut the purple potatoes into small pieces, steam or boil them.

Step 2

I boiled it. I think it’s faster. After cooking, put some osmanthus honey, stir well.

Step 3

How much you put is adjusted according to your taste. I think purple sweet potato itself is relatively sweet,so I don’t add too much osmanthus honey. Do not waste the water of the cooking purple potato, but use it when you are making the skin of the  fried glutinous rice cake.

Step 4

Prepare 200 grams of glutinous rice flour, 20g of wheat starch, 20g of sugar, 100ml of milk, 100ml of water of the cooking purple potato, and a teaspoon of oil.

Step 5

Then mix all the materials evenly and steam for 20-30 minutes.

Step 6

After a little cooling, dip some water on your hands, and then knead the dough, you can start wrapping.

Step 7

I don’t want to talk about the process of the packing, because I don’t think it’s easy for me. Pay attention to the thickness of the fried glutinous rice cake’s skin.It will be better taste when the fried glutinous rice cake’s skin is not too thick.

Step 8

Finally wrap it and roll on the coconut shreds.
