If you like a cold dish, you will like the super homemade msg, which is very easy to eat and full of elasticity. In order to increase the food umami, there are a lot of people who like to put msg when they are cooking. According to some old research, msg is actually inadvertently damaging their own and family’s health. Because the main ingredient in msg is sodium glutamate, when the temperature exceeds 100℃, it will mutate to produce a new substance—sodium pyroglutamate.

But according to the new research, sodium pyroglutamate won’t make the food keep fresh and is not a detriment thing. Although it won’t affect our health. I still hope you can enjoy the diy msg which can keep the fresh taste even in the high temperature.

Since I know msg is not fresh after high heat. I don’t think it is easy to control the temperature when we cook. After a period of time ago research experiments with dried mushrooms and shrimp skin grinding into powder, I found it is a very good replacement for the msg. and magnesium, interfere with bone development, cause thirst and raise blood pressure. In short, MSG processed on the market has great harm to the human body. Compared with the super homemade MSG bought on the market, the harm to the human body can be ignored.

In short, handmade MSG should be safe on the market. So how do you make MSG or DIY MSG? Many people think we cannot make MSG ourselves. In fact, super homemade MSG is not as hard to make as people think. We just need to prepare the following materials and tools, and everything is ready for the east wind if we follow the following steps.

Step 1.

Prepare dried mushrooms and shrimps. Ingredients are essential to a dish, so we must prepare them before making super homemade MSG. Now, we put 15 dried mushrooms and 50 grams of dried shrimp in two different containers. Put It Away.

Step 2.

Wash and dry the mushrooms. Super homemade MSG is to eat the mouth, so the material must be clean, dry mushroom is more difficult to wash. We can use flowing water to wash the mushroom four or five times, and then wipe the surface with a clean towel.

Step 3.

Prepare the oven and broil the prawns and mushrooms. Shiitake mushrooms have been washed. We will then wash the shrimp clean, dry with a clean towel, take out the oven, wash, dry, put the shiitake mushrooms and shrimp on, and push them together into the oven.

Step 4.

When the oven and ingredients are ready, set the oven temperature to approximately 100 ° C, bake for 2.5 h, and then turn off the oven. For each oven, you can choose the temperature and time. Here, it is recommended to choose 100 degrees Celsius temperature and slow bake 2.5 hours.

Step 5.

Grind to make shrimp powder. To make super home-made MSG, we grind the shrimp into powder using a machine. First, after baking for half an hour, remove the shrimps and cool them thoroughly. Then, put them into the grinding cup of the cooking machine and wait for them to grind into shrimp powder.

Step 6.

Use a grinder to grind the shrimp into a powder. To make super homemade MSG, the shell of the shrimp has to be in powder form, so we need to put the shrimps in the grinder, grind the shrimps into powder form, and then take the container to fill the shrimp powder and set aside.

Step 7.

This is the final step in making MSG – mixing the powder proportionally. Dry the mushrooms completely and whisk them into a blender (sift the mushroom powder), and mix the two together.

At this time, we will take out the mushrooms in the oven and dry them thoroughly. We put the shiitake mushrooms into a clean cooking machine and stirred them into powder. Then, strain the mushroom powder, mix the shrimp powder and mushroom powder, stir well, take out the container, dry and seal with a sealed bottle, so super homemade MSG is good. If you want to make other flavors, follow the steps above according to your preferences.
