The Abalone Soup with Four Treasures

The abalone soup with four treasures is a delicacy of Guangdong Province, which belongs to Cantonese cuisine. This dish is red and bright in color. Its texture is tender. It is mainly made of bacon, bamboo shoots, leek, fish maw, abalone, etc., supplemented by mushrooms, ears, etc. This dish is rich in protein, calcium, iron, iodine, vitamin A and other nutrients. It has the functions of Nourishing Yin, clearing heat, benefiting essence and brightening eyes.

How To Make The Abalone Soup with Four Treasures

Step 1

Soak the fish maw in cold water for 1 hour, take out,and then put some ginger, onion and water to boil for about 1 hour (depending on the thickness), take out and cut it into shreds;

Step 2

Soak the mushrooms and cut into shreds. Cut abalone, bamboo shoot, agaric, leek and barbecued pork into shreds,too.

Step 3

Put abalone, shiitake mushroom, bamboo shoot, fungus and pectin into boiling water and scald slightly. Take out 20 grams of oil and heat it in a frying pan. Add high soup and boil. Put abalone, shiitake mushroom, bamboo shoot, fungus, pectin and salt, MSG, soy sauce, wine and pepper into medium heat and boil. Pour in 10 grams of raw powder, 10 grams of water and 5 grams of oil and cook well. Then add leek and cook well. Then serve in a soup bowl and add shredded ham as a blend.
