How to make super simple homemade gelatin cake
Step1
Make donkey-hide gelatin into powder and soak in rice wine for 24 hours (the donkey-hide gelatin block soaked in this recipe for 72 hours).
Step2
Prepare the other main ingredients. Walnut kernels and sesame seeds are cooked in a microwave or oven, or sautéed in a pan over low heat.
Step3
Rock sugar is microwaved for 1 minute and then beaten into a powder with a food processor. You can also buy rock sugar powder directly.
Step4
In addition, prepare a shallow plate for cakes (I used a shallow 7-inch four-sided bake plate) and pad with greased paper.
Step5
Add the rock sugar powder to the gelatin for enough time.
Step6
After the fire boils, turn to a small fire and slowly boil (be sure to keep stirring). About 30-40 minutes, lift the shovel, the gelatin liquid will hang on the shovel without dripping (commonly known as hanging flag).
Step7
Add medlar, jujube and raisins in sequence.
Step8
Add walnut kernels.
Step9
After mixing, add black sesame and mix again quickly (black sesame must be added last, otherwise it will not stir).
Step10
Be sure to stir well.
Step11
Stir evenly into a container, and use a wooden spoon to compact it (the spoon will be dipped in a little bit of cold water before pressing, otherwise it will be coated with gelatin).
Step12
You can also sprinkle rose petals (sprinkle the petals first and then use a spoon to dip in cold water, otherwise it will not stick). Let it cool naturally and put it in the refrigerator for one night.
Step13
Take out, cut the strips first and then cut them into pieces with a weight of about 10g. Packed in a clean and sealed box, eaten as needed, you can eat for a long time. If there is a separate packaging machine, it can be stored for about half a year.
