Easy Stir Fry Chinese Loofah

Easy Stir Fry Chinese Loofah

Summer is the season to eat melon. Watermelon, cucumber, and bitter melon are all good choices. In fact, besides these, loofah is also perfect for summer. Loofah is a great choice for our family dinners.
I will never be disappointed to meet it. Most of the cooking methods of loofah are mainly sautéed with other foods. In fact, the vegetarian stir-fry loofah tastes good too.

Important Tips

  1. Loofah can easily turn black when fried in a pan, so we need to use techniques. Instead of putting the loofah directly into the pan, add another step, which is to immediately cut off the loofah and soak it in lightly salted water. Loofah will not blacken when isolated from oxygen.
  2. To stir-fry loofah, onion, ginger, and garlic are essential. You can prepare them more properly, which will give the dish a richer flavor. Also, if you have lard at home, the vegetables will taste better when stir-fried with lard.
  3. Some people may find that the fried squash in restaurants is always particularly beautiful. In fact, this is due to thickening. After frying the squash, drizzle a little water starch to thicken it. The thickened gourd juice will make it look better.
