Fried Potato Balls

Hello, have you ever tried potato balls?  I had potato balls the other day, and they left a lingering taste in my mouth.  They were incredibly delicious.  The fried potato balls had a crispy and chewy texture, with a perfect balance of saltiness.  I was extremely satisfied with the taste, which was so irresistible that I couldn’t stop eating.

Because the tater tots are so good, I really want to eat them again, but the restaurant is really far from my home, I don’t want to go. So I thought I’d make my own tater tots. Would you like to come with me and learn how to make potato balls? However, if you are frying potatoes for the first time, it is difficult to control the oil temperature, and if you fry them for too long, the potato balls will be very dark, but I love it. But if children eat it, do not fry it for too long, it is more angry, they eat it, tomorrow may have acne.

How to make fried potato balls

So how do you make potato balls? What materials should I prepare? Let me tell you. We’re going to start with two potatoes, green onions, starch, salt and pepper. When you have these ready, you can start making them.

Step1

Now, we take out the good green onion, use a knife to cut a line on the green onion white, tear off the coat of the green onion. This coat is in direct contact with the soil, so we remove it. Then, rinse the scallions under the faucet. After washing, chop the scallions and set them aside.

Ingredients are ready,

Step2

Then, we take the potatoes out, use the paring knife to peel the skin off the potatoes, and then put the potatoes on the cutting board, use the knife to cut the potatoes small, not too small, just medium. Put the potatoes into a pot, add water to the pot, boil on high heat for 15 to 20 minutes, then use a spoon to puree the potatoes.

Peel and cut the potatoes,

Step3

Once you’ve poured the potatoes, add the cornflour to the mashed potatoes, remember, you have to add a lot, otherwise you’re going to end up with a ball that’s too soft and not crunchy. Mix cornflour and mashed potatoes well. Mix well and add salt and pepper.

Add raw powder and mix well,

Step4

Stir in the salt and pepper, wait for a moment, then grab a small pile of mashed potatoes and roll it into a small ball shape. This way, a potato ball is made, and we will then roll the rest of the mashed potatoes into potato balls. You should have the patience to roll it all up into a ball.

Stir well,

Step5

We take it out, wash the pot with boiling water, and then bring cooking oil, pour enough oil into the pot, cook until the 7th or 8th layer is cooked, put in the potato balls. Remember when frying, use chopsticks to separate the potato balls, because the potato balls are sticky, if not separated, the potato balls will stick together, so use chopsticks to separate the potato balls, so as not to stick. Then put the lid on the bar and let the potato balls fry for about a minute, then remove the lid and watch to see if the potato balls change color. If it’s discolored, you can remove the potato balls and put them in a bowl. Then sprinkle with spring onions, and you can sprinkle with some sesame seeds. Wait until it becomes cool, not hot mouth, you can start to eat ~

Pour enough oil into the pan,

The fried potato balls come out, fragrant, smell this taste, feel the whole person floating in the ocean of food. By the way, if you like sweets, you can add some sugar, taste. The meat is tender but slightly chewy, sweet into the juice. The more you eat, the more you want to eat, plus a little pepper taste, simply not too delicious, I am deeply intoxicated by the aroma inside, even if you do not eat, the smell of the population water is flowing down.
