How To Make The Super Sea-buckthorn Jam
Step 1.
Purchase ready-made sea-buckthorn juice or prepare sea-buckthorn fruit to extract sea-buckthorn juice (I sell sea-buckthorn juice)
Step 2.
Wash and peel the carrots and peel them into carrot shreds
Step 3.
Wash the lemon and cut into halves. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon
Step 4.
Place the carrot shreds in a glass bowl and add the sea buckthorn juice
Step 5.
Add in rock sugar and lemon juice, wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10 to 12 hours. Stir every 3 to 4 hours
Step 6.
Wash the jam jar, put it into the pot, add water to the bottle, boil it for 10 minutes, put the bottle cap into the pot after turning off the heat, continue to disinfect it for 10 minutes; Drain and invert the jar. Set aside
Step 7.
Remove from refrigerator, pour into copper pot and simmer over medium heat
Step 8.
Remove the astringent juice after boiling
Step 9.
Boil until the jam is reduced to 1/2, turn off the heat, remove the jam, and pour into the blender to beat the fruit puree
Step 10.
Pour the puree back into the copper pan and bring to a boil again
Step 11.
Put the jam into the bottle, cover the jar tightly and then turn it upside down. Wash the bottle after 30 minutes. Leave it at room temperature for 3 to 7 days before putting it in the refrigerator
