The Super Kumquat Sauce
If you like a Cold Dish, you will like The Super Kumquat Sauce which is very easy to eat and full of elasticity.
How To Make The Super Kumquat Sauce
Step 1.
Rinse the kumquats and soak in salted water for 10 minutes
Cut the kumquat in half and remove the seeds
Step 2.
Chop up kumquat, add granulated sugar, cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 24 hours (less than 2 hours if needed)
Preserved kumquat
Step 3.
Pour the preserved kumquat into 60ML water, bring to a simmer and add the rock sugar. Simmer until the sugar melts and the water increases. Continue to cook
Keep stirring with a spatula until the kumquat sauce thickens, about 25 minutes

- 60 ml Pure water
