  • Cut the beef into 5-mm thick slices, it is best that each slice be of uniform thickness, and rinse under running water until there is no blood.
  • Put the cleaned beef into the pot, while pouring in the right amount of water, so the beef is completely immersed in water. Add 3 piece sliced ginger,  green onions, and 1 tablespoon of Shaoxing wine. Then uncover the pot and to a boil it over medium heat. Cook it for 2 minutes, and then turn off the heat, take out the beef, and rinse well with hot water.
  • Put the rinsed beef into a small pot, put 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce, 1 pinch of salt, 1 gram of five-spice powder, 1 gram of white pepper powder, and 3 pieces of rock sugar(about 15 grams per) ,1 piece of curry cubes.
  • Add the appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat, cover and continue to simmer for 30 minutes so the curry flavor is better integrated with the beef slices.
  • Open the lid, turn to medium heat, and slowly simmer until the sauce is completely absorbed by the beef. Then turn off the heat.
  • Turn on the upper and lower heat of the oven, preheat to 150℃, then spread the beef slices on the baking net.
  • Put the beef into the middle layer of the oven, and put an empty baking tray on the next layer, set the temperature to 130 ℃. If there is a hot air circulation function of the oven you can turn on this function, and then bake for about 20 minutes.
  • After the beef is roasted, take it out, and allow it to cool, then the curry beef jerky is done. We can store it in a sealed container. I tear a piece of beef jerky by hand and taste it immediately. It is full of rich flavor. The more you chew, the more you get to taste. If I don’t have to give some to the kids, I could have eaten all this curry beef jerky in a single meal.
