How to make orange Chiffon rolls?
Scrub the orange with salt first, then cut it into thin slices.
Place the orange slices in a small pot, add 20g of granulated sugar, then add 130g of water, and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes.
Remove and drain and set aside on paper towels.
Prepare two clean oil-free plates and separate the egg yolk from the egg white.
Put the milk, corn oil and 10 grams of granulated sugar into a bowl of egg yolks and beat well with a whisk.
Sift the flour into the egg yolk mixture.
Then mix well up and down until there are no particles.
Add 3 drops of lemon juice to the egg whites.(If you don’t have any lemon juice at home, use white vinegar instead.)
Pour 30g of fine sand sugar into the egg whites twice.
Beat until between wet and stiff peaks, i.e. lift the whisk with a curved shape (as shown). Do not beat too dry, or the roll will crack.
Take about a quarter of the egg whites, stir up and down evenly, it is best not to defoaming, a little bit also fine.
Pour the batter into the beaten egg whites.
Then quickly mix up and down to prevent defoaming.
Place the orange slices in a baking pan.(I use a 28*28 gold non-stick baking sheet, which I don’t have at home. You can bring your own baking sheet in the oven and line it with tin foil before placing it in orange slices.)
Pour the cake batter into the golden baking pan.
They shake out big bubbles.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees For 5 minutes. Place a golden plate of batter in the oven and bake it at 160 degrees for 20 minutes.
Do it backwards for two minutes.
Stripper, not bad!
Roll up hot and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Take out the orange chiffon cake rolls, cut them into your favorite width, and enjoy!
Please adjust the specific temperature and time of your oven according to the temperature of your oven!
If you don’t have lemon juice at home, use white vinegar instead.
